During their first year, participants explore future scenarios through masterclasses and workshops led by international experts. The results will be developed and shown in a collective exhibition. In their second year, they will be able to apply for residencies at partner institutions.

Masterclass: "Intimate Genomics" by Heather Dewey-Hagborg
How much can you learn about a stranger from a strand of hair? In this masterclass, artist Heather Dewey-Hagborg will present the series of works, comprised of sculptures, installations, and videos, that began with this question in 2012. She will share her work using DNA analysis to shed light on new threats to privacy, emerging predictive technologies, and the trend toward genetic determinism.

Masterclass "On Plant Policies" by Juan Cortés
The Colombian artist explores how art can reveal the invisible architectures that regulate our relationship with plants. In this masterclass, he will address taxonomies, metadata, and soundscapes as forms of resistance to infrastructures that standardize plant life and silence knowledge from the Global South.

Masterclass "The Algorithms of Art"

Photography was his first medium of choice, although he soon became interested in the possibilities of projected images and artistic installations.

Presente Continuo ends the year with the exhibition of projects from the 2025 cohort. After a year of work, the fellows will present the projects developed during the different meetings of the program.
