Water and oil collective
A collective made up of Daniel Alvarez Olmedo, María Belén Guiliani and Guido Villar that has been working in the field of art, science and technology since 2010, producing interactive and evolving installations using robotics, electronics, mechanisms, i3D, video, databases, the Internet, microscopy and manipulation of living microorganisms. Water and oil are elements that do not tend to mix because they are immiscible, forming two separate layers, just as often happens with different social classes. Conceptually, they address issues related to certain problems such as inequality, marginalization mechanisms and discrimination against low-income groups.
